This House Cafe Music collection is a specialized archive documenting a pivotal era of the trans-atlantic deep house exchange. Originally established by DJ Ino in the early 2000s, the label served as a vital European outpost for the raw, soulful sounds emerging from the New York underground. Today, as these tracks transition into the Republic Music family, they are reframed as historical artifacts and foundational building blocks for the vision shared by label founders Joseph Valentin and Steven Garcia

At the heart of this collection is a technical dialogue between the label’s primary architects. Joseph Valentin (known as Seph) provides the atmospheric anchor for the release through his Dreamer's Dub moniker, most notably on the standout remix of Jake Jack’s "Cassanova" . His work defines the Republic ethos: stripping away the superfluous to find the hypnotic, dub-heavy heartbeat of the track. This is countered by the warehouse-born grit of Steven Garcia, whose solo output and collaborative work as Pimpmasters and team up with Pablo Sanchez represent the technical discipline and rhythmic edge forged over thirty years in the NYC trenches.
