Artist Roster > Leoesco

Leoesco is a definitive voice of the Colombian house movement, drawing on his Afro-Caribbean roots to craft a sound defined by rhythmic complexity and soulful harmony. Emerging from the flourishing club scene of Cali in the early 90s, he built his foundation as a vinyl selector, influenced by the raw energy of Chicago house and the sophisticated programming of New York legends like Danny Tenaglia and Roger Sanchez. This "true school" education transitioned into a production career in 2004, where he quickly gained international attention for his ability to blend traditional Latin and Jazz elements with the driving pulse of global dancefloors.

As a producer, Leoesco is perhaps best known for his work at the forefront of the Tribal House revival, most notably through his collaborations with Joeski and releases on New York’s Aztlan Music. His discography has since expanded across a vast array of respected imprints including Stealth, Dutchie, and Republic Music, consistently reflecting an "uplifting and unifying" philosophy. Whether he is exploring deep, melodic textures or high-intensity tribal rhythms, Leoesco remains dedicated to the spiritual impact of the groove, using the studio to build bridges between the ancestral sounds of Colombia and the modern electronic underground.
