Artist Roster > Audio KoDe
Audio KoDe, the house and techno-oriented alter-ego of NYC’s Ody Roc, is a producer and DJ defined by high-intensity technical agility. His education began in the early 80s, sneaking into Manhattan’s Fun House and Paradise Garage to study the interaction between the booth and the floor. This early immersion in the breakbeat and classic house culture of New York led him to become a national champion and finalist in the 1998 DMC World DJ Championships, a period where he refined the live editing and multi-deck tricks that have since become his signature.
His transition into the global house scene was solidified during a long-standing residency at the legendary Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos. Playing alongside legends like Danny Tenaglia and Carl Cox, Ody developed a "heads-down" style that blends tribal-infused rhythms with futuristic audio manipulation. On Republic Music, his remix of Garcynoise’s "Raw Reality" showcases his ability to "code and decode" a signal into a potent dancefloor tool. Whether headlining international festivals or working in the studio, Audio KoDe remains focused on the evolution of the audio signal, delivering a sound that is consistently technical, raw, and forward-thinking.
